Hello,
I would like to use your dynamic dns-service with my domain maik-wurster.de
I have updated the ns-records, but till now it doesn’t work. Is there anything I did wrong?
Kind regards

If I already have a domain name, Is there any reason for me to translate my domain name through DNSpod.
Wei 10:14 pm on April 11, 2011 Permalink
First, it is so complicated to change between different domains, 下拉菜单里直接选不同的域名就好了,或者左边直接把域名列出来,展开各个Label,这样就不用点一下在去选域名了。
Secondly,为什么根域名不能添加CNAME或URL。我试了半天只能添加A记录。希望回复dddhhhzz@gmail.com

You can switch domain with this, we even don’t know how to name it yet
1. Click the text input with your current domain in it.
2. Click your group and find you domain, default is your recently domains.
3. You can also type domain in the box and press `Enter` directly.
If you add CNAME and MX record at the same time, you will not receive any mail, which is DNS protocol requirements.
E-Mail system will not use you MX record at your domain, it will looking forward MX record of your CNAME domain.
URL record here also conflict with MX the same reason.
May help

Appreciate your help.
Is there anyway other than to set up A records to redirect this naked domain (*.com) to a second level domain (www.*.com)?
Thx

Forgot to mention that I have MX record set up, so cannot use CNAME or URL.
Appreciate your help.

It would be great if it can show the status for the domains (like if the NS has been updated and pointing to dnspod) on the dashboard page! Thanks

@Alex Sorry, I can’t understand.
Alex 4:51 pm on May 6, 2011 Permalink
Never mind. i found out why i cant do it.I do not own a domain and therefore do not own any rights to a domain.so i cannot use dnspod.
so iv been told.

Batch edit in Dnspod.cn should available in dnspod.com either. That’s a very useful function.
Bill Gong 8:04 am on May 13, 2011 Permalink
BTW category by capital letter should available only there’s a lot of domain names. I only have 3-5 domain names and it confuse me all the time.

Hello,
It would be nice to have a SPF record type available.
Best regards
cat 7:24 am on May 14, 2011 Permalink
@laurent You can create a SPF record by TXT record. See http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sender_Policy_Framework or http://www.google.com/support/a/bin/answer.py?answer=178723
laurent 10:30 am on May 14, 2011 Permalink
Yes, tx.
my mail headers are clean. (Received-SPF: pass)
i did it. And now it work.
But when i run the test via : : it return the following message:
> SPF records should also be published in DNS as type SPF records.
> No type SPF records found.
> Checking to see if there is a valid SPF record.
> Results – Temporary Error DNS Timeout
> Error with record of type SPF. TXT record not evaluated
That’s why I asked, if perhaps an SPF record would be better (widely supported). Anyway it work.
Thank you.
cat 5:50 am on May 16, 2011 Permalink
@laurent Ok, maybe the next version.

Hi,
I’m want to use DNSPOD with my Synology NAS which has an interface using your API.
I can manage to log in but the forwarding takes forever… Is the service available already or still under development?

我的能用吗
R.T.Romero 11:28 am on March 30, 2012 Permalink
They typically go in this format:
v=spf1 ptr ?all
or
v=spf1 exists:xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx ?all
with + being fail – soft fail ? neutral on the end.
